Public transportation in North Grand Tunis region is provided mostly by buses of Transtu Company. Bus connections are heading into the city center of Tunis and the bus station of Ariana. The connection between La Marsa, Carthage, La Goulette and Tunis also ensures the ground metro TGM.
Local bus network is provided by Transtu Company  . The great majority of the buses are very old and the provided services are not sufficient. The buses are often overloaded. In the table below are valid timetables, however the buses are often driving without timetables.

Long-distance Bus Lines are provided by SNTRI Company. The Bus Terminal is in Tunis - South (Rue Sidi El Bechir) or Tunis - North. The Bus Network covers whole Tunisia.
The Official bus schedule and Tarrifs are here .The ticket price is about 0,04 to 0,20 TND per km (0,02 to 0,10 € per km), it depens on the traveling distance.
